KIMONO Ichiru

As a chained kimono studio in Japan, KIMONO Ichiru offers rental services and kimono-wearing classes. With the goal of reaching a broader audience, particularly younger individuals, I played a role in art direction, suggesting innovative design themes for the website whilst preserving the originality of Ichiru.
I proposed two distinct styles: one featuring geometric shapes and strong contrast to inject a breath of smart, chic, modern style whilst maintaining Ichiru's mature essence and fun side; the other taking a softer approach with colors and washi texture to evoke a gentle and tactile experience, aligning with Ichiru's mission of "Enjoying Kimono and Learning about Japanese Culture."
